Description:

Our WEEM 1126 SIC wide belt for panel and board sanding is built with sharp, fast cut silicon carbide gain, resin over resin, close coated on durable y weight waterproof polyester backing. 

WEEM 1126 SIC wide belt is built on 100% polyester backing with antistatic treatment, which will provide advantage like: washable, toughness, longer life time etc. We chose sharp silicon carbide gains for WEEM 1126 to generate fast cut performance. Silicon carbide (SiC) is a very hard and crystal structure produces a fine straight edged grind lines. It is superior for its ability to penetrate with light cutting pressures. SiC is primarily used for grinding nonferrous materials such as brass, copper, bronze, and wood, glass, rubber and plastics. It is also used to finish polyurethanes, primers, lacquers and sealers.

Another technical advance is taking to ensure performance - closed coating gain. It means a higher number of abrasive cutting points per square inch and results in higher stock removal rate and longer time before the abrasive wears out. Normally results in a better finish. In panel and board sanding, usually MDF, HDF and Particle board, loading problem or clone problems are often occurred. Anti-static treatment is used on the WEEM 1126 backing to prevent, delay loading problems.

One of the wide belt's weak points is the joint. Compare to the tough polyester backing, jointing place have only a tape and glue on backing to hold it together. Wrong doing the joint or poor glue will causing belt broken while working. We using 3M strong bi-direction tape splice, and Bayer adhesive on the joint to optimum the jointing force.
